About the Author: Bryan W. Stone

While attending the University of Georgia, I would make regular trips to travel to Augusta, Georgia and visit my grandmother, who talked glowingly about her Aunt Aurora. The extraordinary tales percolated my interest and after years of 'planning' on documenting those stories, I began this novel based on the true story of my Aunt Aurora, who was born and died in Barbour County, Alabama.

As a fairly seasoned attorney, this novel presented a different style of writing that has captivated me and I hope the product is enjoyed by the reader. The writing is not perfect, but it is true and meaningful to me.

I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my darling wife, my two amazing daughters who make a cameo in Rainbow, and two massive dogs that love to jog through my house with their freshly muddy paws. I have a crazy devotion to my honey bee hives that sit in my backyard and only occasionally sting me when I linger too long.
